Welcome to the Art Cards project. This page should hopefully contain all the information you need to become a contributing artist. If there is anything else you need to know, or anything you are unclear on, don't hesitate to contact the project.

Card Details

Card example

The official dimensions for an Art Card are 55mm by 85mm, which is similar to the standard size of credit cards, and it is acceptable to make your cards at that size if you find that easier.

The front side of an Art Card is you canvas to do whatever you want with - you're the artist, go wild! However, the back of a card has to follow a standard format. There is certain things that you have to write on; the name of the piece of art, the print number (if the work is digital), your name, the date the piece was finished and your signature. There must be enough room at the bottom of the card for some information that will be added by the project; the card number, the series number and the project URL.

Card template back

The image to the left shows roughly where on the back of your card the information you have to write goes - the text in green is what you have to write, and the text in red is handled by the project. The print count & number ('Print X of Y') are only necessary if you are making multiple prints of the card.
